My Therapeutic Approach - Relatable & Straightforward

BLending science, compassion & practical tools

While I use clinically proven strategies, my style is far from cold or clinical. I’m warm, relatable, and compassionate—but I’m also a straight shooter. If something’s keeping you stuck, I’ll tell you honestly and work with you to clear the roadblocks.

Think of me as part compass, part co-pilot—someone who helps you navigate with empathy, but also makes sure you don’t get stuck circling the same roundabout.

My approach is both human and practical—rooted in connection, but always with a focus on creating meaningful, lasting change.

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy is used to help you quiet self-criticism and instead focus on self-kindness.

  • Narrative Therapy encourages you to reframe and rewrite the stories you tell yourself, highlighting your strengths.

  • Mindful Eating helps to increase awareness and enjoyment of eating by slowing down, tuning into your senses, and noticing how different foods make you feel—helping you feel more satisfied and less stressed around food.

  • Mindfulness-Based Techniques are used to increase awareness, calm the nervous system, and improve emotional regulation.

  • Strength-Based Therapy builds on what’s already working well, helping you draw on your existing strengths

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy will help you to identify, understand, and work through difficult emotions in healthier ways.

Evidence-Based Therapy Modalities

Grounded in science, guided by compassion.

In our work together, I draw on evidence-based modalities that are grounded in neuroscience and biology—helping you understand not just what you’re experiencing, but why it’s happening in your brain and body.

By combining science with compassion, we can create lasting, meaningful change.

Therapist Practicing Gratitude

At the heart of my approach is helping you find a sustainable balance that fits your lifestyle.

Therapy isn’t about striving for perfection—it’s about creating a way of living that feels doable, supportive, and aligned with your values.

Together, we’ll explore practical tools and compassionate strategies that work not just in theory, but in your everyday life—so the changes you make feel natural, lasting, and truly your own.

The Benefits of Online Therapy

What’s more comfortable than your own couch? Online therapy gives you the freedom to attend sessions from the space that feels best for you.

That might be curled up by the fire in the winter, sitting outside in the sunshine in the summer, or simply relaxing in your favorite cozy spot at home. Wherever you feel safe and comfortable, therapy can meet you there.
